Title : Day By Day

Statement: When one thinks of changing the world, they think of one great action that is remembered for centuries, which, truly, is commendable, but does changing the world have to be just that? Does it have to be that glorious? What if what I do are little things? What if I take small steps to change things around me? Isn't that what others who are known for changing the world did? Yes, they took the opportunity to do something big when they had it, but I believe that just as glorious as doing one big thing is doing many tiny things.

Title : I want to keep the ocean, do you

Statement: Wanna know how this stingray died? We were on a trip on the beach, taking a walk nearby a fishing pier. And spotted a stingray strangled to death on the shore by a fishing line... There someone probably threw a fishing line into the ocean. The change I want is for people not to throw plastic into the ocean, and use biodegradable FISHING LINES so this never happens again. Just keep in mind that the earth is a delicate balance scale and we are breaking it.

Title : Watering the Seeds of Light

Statement: I’m just a girl. A girl whose actions might just change the world. While there is no magic formula to solve all problems, I believe that spreading the seeds of peace, love, unity and respect to those around me can make all the difference. My painting shows that when I water my four seeds, I can spread light to everyone. One person doesn’t have to change the whole world, they just have to change the little worlds we each exist in. That’s exactly what I’m doing - one everyday act and one everyday person at a time.

Title : A world with microgreen

Statement: I want to change the world by encouraging people and young generation to healthy and live a healthy life. These days people are very busy. I would like to introduce microgreens to the people. Microgreens are future superfood and its very easy to grow at home with minimal space and time. They have higher concentration of nutrients than their mature plants. When we grow plants at home, kids get to learn too.
Let's build a healthy world together. I would like to young generation grow healthier and give their best to this world.

Title : I will change the world by...
Statement: When we think about changing the world, most of us think about " Pollution" or "Deforestation". These are important problems that need to be solved but there are many other problems that don't come in this category that are also important. One of them is "Bullying". I wrote a short story about "Bullying" to make people aware of this problem which is not talked about much. This problem needs to solve and I will stand up for it. This will change the lives of many people. I will change the world by doing my part to stop bullying.

Title : The Kaleidoscope of Change
Statement: In my poem, I try to explain how change in our perception, and openminded-ness to ideas lead to the most effective solutions to our biggest problems. I wanted to encompass that in my poem by showing how collaboration and inspiration gets us there. By changing one person's perspective and having them influence others, more people are aware of it, and that makes it more influential. My title is inspired by the kaleidoscope, how there are so many perspectives and changes in every lens. I wanted to show how it takes many perspectives to make a lasting impact and change.

Title : Modern Diversity
Statement: Diversity. It is how different something could be. People are very diverse. But take a moment to think about how people aren’t only racially diverse, but they can have diverse personalities. Think about school. The person sitting to the right of you may be into video games and could be an introvert. The person sitting to the left of you may love sports and is an extrovert. And though everything is diverse, it shouldn’t be a way to separate or discriminate people. Diversity is a good thing, and that’s what I want to show the world.

Title : "I need water"
Statement: “I need water. Life isn’t easy, for I also struggle to find shelter and food. Obtaining money isn’t an easy game to play. When I’d sneak a peek at TV’s playing at store fronts, I’d see stories about people raising money for those who needed water in different places of the world. If only, I could be some of those lucky people that were beneficiaries of those efforts.” There are many people who have similar stories like this around the world, and I feel that everyone should have water.

Title : Anger of the waves
Statement: This original piece by me a (beginner musician), consists of ascending and descending octaves just like waves, they ascend. I have wrote this song hoping it would be in an angry tone for the ascending notes and sad tone for the descending notes. For some lines I inverted the notes with other lines in an ascending and/or descending fashion. I did all this on the E flat alto saxophone.
